Reasons Forms Of Expansion Foreign Markets -Myassignmenthelp.Com

Question: Discuss About The Reasons Forms Of Expansion Foreign Markets? Answer: Introduction XYZ Corporations is a finance firm that is based out of Australia and operates from four different domestic locations. The organization serves domestic and international customers and is under the expansion phase. There are over 250 employees engaged with the organization distributed across four different business units. There are communication issues that have been observed in the company and the report analyses the same. Data Collection Method In order to understand the communication issues, it is necessary to gather data sets describing the major conflict areas, primary gaps, current scenario, expected scenario, and likewise. There are various methods that may be used for the purpose of data collection, such as online surveys, questionnaires, personal interviews, group discussions and so on. The method which is apt for this scenario is online surveys. It is the method in which the employees of XYZ Corporations can fill out a questionnaire shared over the network. The identity of the employees may be kept anonymous or may be revealed as per their comfort. The idea behind the selection of this method is due to the geographically spread business units and large number of employees. The conduction of other measures will be time-taking and higher on cost as well. However, there are pros and cons associated with online surveys as the method of data collection. Set of Advantages The method will be cost-effective in nature as there will be no cost spent on the infrastructure and resourcing. The survey will be shared over the network and the employees will be asked to give their response. The employees will be free to give their honest opinion as they may choose to keep their identity anonymous (Harlow, 2010). The survey will reach to all the employees located at diverse business locations. The management will find it easy to analyse the response and draw conclusions as the grouping of the data sets will be easier with the aid of automation of data handling and analysis. Set of Disadvantages The detailed description of the issues and problems may be difficult to gather as compared to measures like personal interviews. The employees will be required to be reminded multiple times to have a good response rate (Nulty, 2008). There may be fraud responses filled in by the employees which may be difficult to track. Report The primary aim of a business organization is to ensure that the customer expectations and met and the customers are served with best quality services and products to have increased profits and revenues. So is the case with XYZ Corporations as well. In order to achieve these goals, the team collaboration and team playing of the human resources is of utmost importance. In the four different geographical locations of the company, there are over 250 employees that are engaged with the company that belong to different age groups, cultural backgrounds, communities, and gender. Also, the skills, knowledge, and experience of these employees vary. Recommendations Some of the recommendations for the diverse set of employees to achieve their respective project goals along with the organizational goals are as listed below. There must be regular inter-department and intra-department sessions, activities and discussions organized by the company. Every team must publish a weekly portfolio on any of their project-related topic on the company portal. Summary There are 43% females and 57% of the male employees that work in the organization. Out of these employees, 65% are below 35 years of age and 10% are above 50 years of age. The top-level management comprises of 12% of the overall employees. 60% of the staff is at the operational level. We are also open to suggestions and recommendations from our employees that may assist us in the process of business expansion. Let us all pledge to work together towards a smooth expansion and transition. Proposal to CEO XYZ Corporations is a financial firm that is suffering from the communication issues among the employees due to their diverse backgrounds and geographical locations. These issues may impact the organizational growth in its process of business expansion. The proposal is written to the CEO of the company to recommend the tools and techniques that may be used for the resolution of the issues. The purpose of the proposal is to provide the CEO and senior management of XYZ Corporations with the recommendations on the resolution of the problems of business issues and problems. The company is witnessing major communication gaps that may have an impact on its process of growth and business expansion. Proposed Course of Action The communication issues in the organization shall be resolved with the aid of technology. There shall be an internal chat server that must be set-up for the organization and every business unit shall be equipped with tele-conferencing tools and equipment. There shall also be Big Data and data analytics tools that must be used to analyse and understand the communication problems among the employees. These tools will allow the organization to understand the common patterns and trends associated in the communication channels (Llorente Cuenca, 2016). Further Materials/Tools to be used These tools will also be of a great aid in the business expansion process as the market status, customer expectations and demands will be easier to understand. A real-time picture of the data will be available with the management that will assist in the formation of business strategy and decision-making processes. Schedule and Costs The implementation of these tools shall be done in a total duration of six months. The budget for the required changes shall be $45,000. These shall include the cost of infrastructure, cost of operations, tools cost, resource costs, and implementation costs. Conclusion XYZ Corporations must carry out extensive planning and analysis before making the changes that are highlighted above. The current and expected scenarios shall be clear in the minds of all the resources to ensure that the transition is smooth and successful. References Acs. (2014). Management Problem Solving Case of Volkswagen

Question: Discuss about theManagement Problem Solvingfor Case of Volkswagen. Answer: Introduction: The report mainly depicts the overall problems, which was faced by Volkswagen in designing their Engine Management Software (EMS). In addition, the software that was developed for detecting the emission rate in cars was mainly rigged. Furthermore, the novice effectively reviews the overall problems, which mainly reduced the viability and brand image of the company. Moreover, the report with the help of chosen pathway is able to solve the problems faced by Volkswagen. Lastly, the novice effectively suggests the recommendation for Volkswagen, which could be used in near future for reducing any unethical process in the organisation. Review of the Problem: During 2009, the EA 189 engine was mainly designed by Volkswagen, which had fault in their emission system. In addition, the engine management software that is been used by the company was mainly rigged to provide the reduced emission rate (volkswagenag.com, 2016). Furthermore, the software used for detecting the overall emission rate of the car was been manipulated, which mainly depicts wrong emission rate of the engines. In addition, the main aim of the company was to cheat the overall Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of US and to allow EA 189 engine diesel cars. In this regard, Balbi (2015) stated that Volkswagen with the help of deceiving technology are able to manipulate the engine reading. In addition, Volkswagen by using the overall defaulting software in their diesel cars was able to create a buzz for its products. In addition, the company depicted the low emission rate of their cars in their marketing strategy, which in turn helped in boosting the overall sales. The software was mainly designed by the company to depict the adequate emission rate, which was allowed by the US authorities by using the safety mode. However, after the schedule testing time the safety mode of the cars was changed, which mainly emitted nitrogen oxide pollutants up to 40 times (volkswagenag.com, 2016). Zhou (2016) mentioned that around 90% of the overall diesel cars produced by Volkswagen mainly generated high emission, which was not allowed in US. Figure 1: Showing the drop in net income faced by Volkswagen (Source: volkswagenag.com, 2016) Figure 1 mainly depicts the overall fall in net income, which incurred due to expenses occurred from taking back the faulty tasks. In addition, around 6.2 billion in loss was mainly incurred in 2015 due to the extra expenses incurred by Volkswagens in calling back the 35,000 cars (volkswagenag.com, 2016). Furthermore, Volkswagen has also agreed for the unethical practises conducted by the organisation for promoting the low emission diesel car, which was mainly depicted as emissiongate or diselgate scandal. Krall Peng (2015) mentioned that due to emission scandal the overall image and share price of Volkswagen was negatively impacted. On the contrary, Apte (2016) criticises that carbon emission manipulation was mainly conducted to reduce the RD expenditure of Volkswagen. Moreover, due to the scandal overall Volkswagens creditability among potential investors and customers had been drastically declined. In addition, the emissiongate scandal was the major turning point for companys rev enue and profitability (volkswagenag.com, 2016). Analysis of the Problem: The overall pathway of the analysis is mainly conducted from the theoretical lenses of CSR / Ethics. In addition, the scandal of Volkswagen has mainly depicted the overall violation of ethical and CSR activities. Furthermore, the unethical measures used by engineers in designing the emission software mainly portrayed the overall lack of CSR activities. Hoi, Wu Zhang (2013) stated that CSR activities are mainly used for reducing the unethical measures conducted by companies for boosting their profitability. However, Lee, Park Lee (2013) criticises that companies to increases their overall profitability reduce the overall impact of their CSR activity. The first problem was mainly detected on the software developed by engineers of Volkswagen in 2009 (volkswagenag.com, 2016). In addition, the software that was designed by the engineers was mainly manipulated and depicted the unethical measures. Furthermore, the EMS software also manipulated the emission section, which depicted low pollution rate of Volkswagen diesel cars. This manipulation of emission software mainly depicted the low CSR practised by the company, which in turn reduced its overall ethical practise (Yoo Chon, 2013). In addition, the root cause of the unethical behaviour from Volkswagen was due to low independent management control conducted in its operations. In addition, the overall problems that was mainly faced by Volkswagen depicted the low control or the motivation provided by top-level management for conducting unethical practises in the organisation. Furthermore, the resignation of Martin Winterkorn mainly stated the CEO took the whole responsibility of not following the depicted CSR rules. Lee, Cho, Arthurs Lee (2015) mentioned that the scope of the Volkswagen scandal mainly depicts the motivations that might have been provided by the CEO for manipulating their emission software. However, Kim, Kang Mattila (2012) argued that due to the reduced mileage provided by the diesel engine the fraud conducted by the company escalated, which in turn affected both creditability and image of the company. With the help of the following depicted actions, the overall CSR activities of the company can be effectively maintained. Ethical CSR: The ethical CSR mainly depicts the legal requirements, which could be followed by Volkswagen in their operations. In addition, the ethical CSR is blend of legal and ethical requirements, which are needed from the car manufacturers in US and European countries (volkswagenag.com, 2016). Esen (2013) cited that increasing ethics and CSR activities in an organizations mainly helps in gathering increased trust from both investors and customers of the company. In addition, Volkswagen could effectively increase the impact of CSR activities by effectively monitoring activities of their staff. On the contrary, Govindarajan Amilan (2013) argued that CSR activities only reduce their impact if the company mainly aims in making high-end profits from their activities. Continuous Monitoring by Independent Directors: The mainly problems of Volkswagen mainly came from less monitoring conducted by independent directors. In addition, if the monitoring process of the independent directors was effectively conducted then operations of the company might be conducted ethically in fear from loss of reputation. Thus, the independent directors of Volkswagen can effectively evaluate the overall operations, particularly the manufacturing and financial report process (volkswagenag.com, 2016). In this regard, Wirl, Feichtinger Kort (2013) mentioned that monitoring process is mainly helpful in reducing the unethical practices, which might be conducted in an organisation to support their CSR activities. On the other hand, Park, Kim, Oh Chung (2016) criticises that increased implementation of CSR activities might hinder manufacturing companys ability to maintain the required level of profitability. Strengthening the Ethical Use of Technology: In addition, Volkswagen was able to use the unethical approach in their car manufacturing because of manipulated technology. Thus, strengthening the overall ethical use of technology might mainly help in reducing the unethical measures, which was previously conducted in Volkswagen. In this context, Krall Peng (2015) cited that the implementation of advanced technology might mainly help in improving the monitoring process, which in turn could reduce the overall unethical measures conducted in the business. Furthermore, Volkswagen could effectively use advanced technology for reducing the pollution conducted by the manufactured cars. On the contrary, Hoi, Wu Zhang (2013) argued that implementation of high-end technology in the manufacturing process mainly increase the overall expenditure of the company. Recommendations for Volkswagen and your Conclusions: The overall study mainly helps in evaluating the Volkswagen scandal that reduced viability and authenticity of the company. In addition, the report effectively analyses the overall scandal and depicts the relative actions that is been taken by Volkswagen. Moreover, the novice effectively depicts and evaluates the scandal based on relative theoretical pathway. In addition, the report uses ethical and CSR theoretical pathways to understand the scandal, which desecrated the image of Volkswagen in US and Europe. Furthermore, the relative measures are also depicted by the novice, which could be used by Volkswagen for strengthening its CSR activities. The main recommendations that might be helpful for Volkswagen are depicted as follows. Volkswagen could implement high-end monitoring process for increasing the impact of its CSR activities. In addition, the focus of the company is to ensure non-repetition of the unethical measures that was conducted in Volkswagen. Moreover, Volkswagen directors could also use continuous survey for ensuring the ethical practises conducted in the overall business operations. In addition, the strengthening of CSR activities in Volkswagen could also help the directors and management to endure the ethical practises conducted in research and development section. Moreover, Volkswagen could also provide relative training to its employees regarding the CSR activities and its use for increasing the trust of its employees. In addition, with the help of recommended actions Volkswagen could effectively improve their current CSR activities and conduct its activities ethically. Moreover, the recommendation could effectively help in developing the ethical practices among management and engineers of Volkswagen. Furthermore, implementation of effective CSR activities might help Volkswagen in reducing the augmentation of any future scandal conducted in their products. Reference: Apte, S. (2016). Access Restrictions to Social Security Death Index

Access Restrictions to Social Security Death Index The Social Security Death Master File, maintained by the US Social Security Administration (SSA), is a database of death records collected from a variety of sources used by the SSA to administer their programs. This includes death information collected from family members, funeral homes, financial institutions, postal authorities, States and other Federal agencies. The Social Security Death Master File is not a comprehensive record of all deaths in the United States- just a record of those deaths reported to the Social Security Administration. The SSA maintains two versions of the Death Master File (DMF): The  full file  contains all death records extracted from the SSA database, including death data received from the States, and is shared only with certain Federal and State agencies pursuant to section 205(r) of the Social Security Act.The  public file  (commonly referred to as the Social Security Death Index, or SSDI), as of 1 November 2011, does  not  include protected death records received from the States.   According to the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), which disseminates the Death Master File, â€Å"Section 205(r) of the Act prohibits SSA from disclosing state death records SSA receives through its contracts with the states, except in limited circumstances.† This change removed approximately  4.2 million of the 89 million deaths at that time contained in the public Death Master File (Social Security Death Index), and approximately 1 million fewer deaths are now added each year.  At the same time, the Social Security Agency also stopped including the decedent’s residential state and Zip code in the public file (SSDI). Why the Changes to the Public Social Security Death Index? The 2011 changes to the Social Security Death Index began with a  Scripps Howard News Service investigation in July 2011, that complained about individuals using Social Security Numbers for deceased individuals found online to commit tax and credit fraud. Large genealogy services which offered access to the Social Security Death Index were targeted as helping to perpetuate the fraud related to use of social security numbers for deceased individuals. In November 2011, GenealogyBank removed social security numbers from their free U.S. Social Security Death Index database, after two customers complained their privacy was violated when the Social Security Administration falsely listed them as deceased. In December 2011, following a petition sent to the five largest genealogy services who provided online access to the SSDI, by  U.S. Senators  Sherrod Brown  (D-Ohio),  Richard Blumenthal  (D-Connecticut),  Bill Nelson  (D-Florida) and  Richard J. Durbin  (D-Illinois), A ncestry.com removed all access to the popular, free version of the SSDI that had been hosted on RootsWeb.com for over a decade. They also removed social security numbers for individuals who died within the past 10 years  from the SSDI database hosted behind their membership wall on Ancestry.com,  due to sensitivities around the information in this database. The Senators December 2011 petition urged companies to remove and no longer post on your website deceased individuals Social Security numbers because they believe that the benefits provided by making the Death Master File readily available online are greatly outweighed by the costs of disclosing such personal information, and that ...given the other information available on your website full names, birth dates, death dates   Social Security numbers provide little benefit to individuals undertaking to learn about their familial history.  While the letter conceded that posting the Social Security numbers is not illegal under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), it also went on to point out that legality and propriety are not the same thing. Unfortunately, these 2011 restrictions werent the end of the changes to public access to the Social Security Death Index. Pursuant to law passed in December 2013 (Section 203 of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2013), access to information contained in the Social Security Administration’s Death Master File (DMF) is now limited for a three year period beginning on the date of an individual’s death to authorized users and recipients who qualify for certification. Genealogists and other individuals can no longer request copies of social security applications (SS-5) for individuals who have died within the past three years under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act. Recent deaths are also not included in the SSDI until three years after the date of death. Where You Can Still Access the Social Security Death Index Online

Critical Essay That Explores Some Aspect Or Element of Craft in Non-Fiction

Critical Essay That Explores Some Aspect Or Element of Craft in Non-FictionSo you've spent hours over a weekend thinking about your critical essay that explores some aspect or element of craft in non-fiction. You know it has to be an essay on some aspect of craft, but what is it? Where do you start? What kind of essay is needed to explore craft in non-fiction?After thinking about the nature of your critical essay that explores some aspect or element of craft in non-fiction, you may find it easier to make it into a kind of essay. Here are some tips. The first thing you need to do is research various types of craft. Read up on the subject in an effort to understand it better. Decide what kind of craft you would like to write about. A dentist may be great at illustrating his patients' general attitude towards dentistry. On the other hand, an English professor may focus on the mechanics of writing essays and how they differ from writing fiction. The second thing you need to do is to figure out the type of craft you want to write about. From there, you can draw a broad outline of the essay. But you should be ready to change the outline at any time based on the research you've done. All you need to do is make sure it meets the criteria you set forth. Be sure to focus on the way craft can affect the reader, the writer, and the whole essay. After you have the outline for the essay, it's time to begin the body of the essay by using some examples that are representative of the craft. There is no need to go into details in the body of the essay, as you are just drawing examples fromvarious aspects of the craft. Instead, you should use examples to illustrate and then theorize about the points you have made in the body of the essay. Try to write in a way that will make the reader think.Use this idea to lay the groundwork for your craft. Let the reader get caught up in the topic before you tackle the finer points of the craft. In the end, the essay is based on the reader's inte rest and intelligence. Make sure you make the reader interested in your subject and let them read on in order to get more detail. This is important to making a good craft in non-fiction essay. The final part of your craft in non-fiction essay that explores some aspect or element of craft in non-fiction is to put down what you know about the craft. The best way to approach this is to go into great detail. Start with the details of the craft. Let the reader see how the craft has an effect on the other things a person does and what kinds of aspects in life that work together to produce a certain effect. If you're going to be describing a specific craft in a specific industry, write about how that craft affects other aspects of life. But if you're not sure of the exact industry you are writing about, just work with a general definition of the subject you want to write about. As you can see, there are a lot of things to consider when writing a critical essay that explores some aspect or el ement of craft in non-fiction. Just as there are a lot of subjects and industries that can be represented in this kind of essay, there are a lot of ideas for starting and ending sentences to be included in the essay.

Immigration Argumentative Essay Topics

Immigration Argumentative Essay TopicsImmigration argumentative essay topics are some of the most important aspects of writing your composition. The decision to write on this topic can be very challenging, but you need to know what you're doing to succeed. Many people choose argumentative essay topics which are related to immigration. As a result, a lot of your essay will be filled with facts, or statistics, or numbers. There are some writers who prefer to deal with hypothetical situations, or familiarly known information about how things are. Because the topic is so large, these kinds of essay are usually harder to compose than those that focus on a more general background. In general, you should try to tackle immigration argumentative essay topics which are descriptive rather than technical. Just as a story need not be a novel if it's told in brief, a piece that talks about specific areas of life in immigration must be written in shorter sentences. Arguments which might be complex an d difficult to follow can only benefit from short and easily understandable prose. Even if the topics are complex, the style of the piece needs to remain simple. You'll also want to try to use a long title. For example, instead of stating the title as 'Why United States Immigration Policy Has Become Unfair', you could state the title in five words or less. If it's a short essay, keep it concise and simple, and make sure it ends on a cliffhanger. A lot of arguments are hard to follow up on, and it is only by leaving the reader wanting more that you succeed at getting them to read on. Research Paper Broad Topics

Research Paper Broad TopicsIf you are researching your thesis in college or in a graduate program, you may need to research broad topics such as education, health care, government, or the environment. These are just some of the broad topics that may be included in your research paper. Here are some ideas for broad topics to consider when writing your paper.Online Sources: If you're using an online database for your research, be sure to check the background of the author to make sure they've got no bias toward one side or the other. Search for their affiliations and see if they're represented by a university or a business organization. Check out any conflicts of interest and make sure there's nothing that violates university policies or doesn't conform to established guidelines.Current Events: When it comes to researching current events, there are many resources available to you. By looking through newspapers and magazines, you can get ideas about what the news is. Also, a great resou rce is a reputable source for news and current events, such as the wire service or the television station.Bibliography: Research papers are usually listed in the 'bibliography' section of the article itself. In the bibliography, you'll usually have to list each source that you used, along with their names. You may also want to include in the bibliography an index or table of contents so that you don't forget what you were looking for. For research papers, this can be quite helpful, because it gives you a place to check off those facts you already know, and a convenient place to store your references.Context: Just like with a news article, research papers often contain an introduction, conclusion, and a body of information. Some research papers provide additional information after the bibliography, but only if you ask for it. When you write a research paper, be sure to provide your reader with enough context to help them understand the topic.Introduction: The introduction should prov ide the reader with enough information to get started with your paper. It should introduce the main topic of the paper, what the purpose of the paper is, and what the research is about. This is the part of the paper that will be the hardest for students to get through, so you need to do it well.Writing a research paper is challenging and time-consuming, especially if you're a graduate student. You don't have to worry about this when you write a graduate thesis defense, but if you're working on a dissertation, you should always have research papers prepared to give to the editors of the journals in which you submit it.
